In 2008, David Taylor forced Cass County to return $150,000 of taxes which he opposed but which were voted by the County Board of Commissioners to be imposed on residents in violation of State law. David Taylor also proposed an additional $750,000 of County tax reduction this year which was never-the-less assessed against the County residents in excess of this year's budget requirements.
